One of ten lettered copies printed on Rives Heavyweight (another 150 numbered copies were printed on Warren's Olde Style, see Roberts A122.5a, first separate edition). Lawrence's essay on the Hopi ritual, originally published in Theatre Arts Monthly in 1924 and later as a chapter in Mornings in Mexico. Foreword by Linda Laird and David Laird. Frontispiece serigraph by Mark Sanders. Here published along with a letter from Lawrence to Willard Johnson from 1924 revealing his unpolished opinions about the ritual. Item #1943
