Lawrence's essay on the Hopi ritual, originally published in Theatre Arts Monthly in 1924 and later as a chapter in Mornings in Mexico. Foreword by Linda Laird and David Laird. Frontispiece serigraph by Mark Sanders. Here published along with a letter from Lawrence to Willard Johnson from 1924 revealing his unpolished opinions about the ritual. Item #1943
