New York: Padell, 1948. Second edition, stated. 117 pp. Green cloth, spine lettered in white, with two dust jackets, one a variant unrecorded by the bibliographer. Top edge of jackets a little rubbed, a couple of scrapes to the lower portion of the spine of both jackets. Slight foxing to fore-edge. In addition to the regular jacket with yellow and black printing, this copy also bears a jacket printed in red and black, unrecorded by Morgan. Inscribed by Patchen on the first blank, “for Kenneth Rexroth / in appreciation / of his ‘tough,’ honest poems / Kenneth Patchen / June 1948.” Morgan notes that this edition was published in May.
