Broodthaers’ first published volume of poetry, a “suite de récits poétiques.” Frontispiece by Serge Vandercam (laid in, as issued). One of 150 copies on vélin, of a total edition of 183 copies. In the afterword to the English translation, the translator Elizabeth Zuba notes, Mon livre d’ogre is “a wildly cinematic book of a dark fairy-tale tableau—shadows and mirrors peppered with storms, citadels, fortresses and kings.” Rare, OCLC locates three copies (BNF, Yale, Northwestern).
